Viper SC+ Firmware Files and Instructions
Before downloading the firmware files, please read this entire page carefully.
The Viper SC+ Firmware v3.14 is for the Viper SC and SC+ platforms only. If you have an older non-SC Viper model, please contact the CalAmp Technical Support Team via email at productsupport@calamp.com.
v3.14 firmware can be uploaded to any SC or SC+ Viper using FTP regardless of the previously installed firmware version.
Installation Instructions
Prior to installing the firmware, please download and read the following update instructions.

Download and apply the v3.14 firmware: |
Viper SC+ Base Station Firmware (v1.1.12)

Download and apply the v1.1.12 firmware: Caution: The base station must at least firmware version 1.1.5 or later. If the base station firmware has 1.1.4 or earlier then please contact CalAmp technical support for the correct procedure for upgrading firmware from the earlier version to version 1.1.12. Upgrading from an earlier version (1.1.4 or earlier) directly to version 1.1.12 can cause the upgrade procedure to fail resulting in a corrupted firmware (which might require the base station to be sent back in for repair. Local recovery may not be possible.)
